Lead the Way in Audit Quality at RSM UK

The Audit Quality department is responsible for driving quality standards across our audit practice. By joining this team, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing initiatives that elevate the quality of our audits. As the audit landscape continues to evolve, maintaining high standards of audit quality remains a top priority, and this role allows you to be at the forefront of those efforts.

We are seeking an Audit Quality Manager to join our team, based in London with a hybrid working model. We are also open to candidates from other UK locations.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Quality Initiatives: Collaborate across departments to develop, implement, and monitor initiatives aimed at improving audit quality and reducing risk.
• In-Flight Reviews: Conduct reviews of ongoing audits, identify areas of concern, and work with audit teams to address these issues in real time.
• Leadership & Guidance: Work closely with audit directors to ensure that audit quality standards are consistently upheld and continuously improved.
• Best Practices: Share key learnings and best practices with audit teams to enhance overall audit quality.
• Quality Enhancement Plan: Contribute to the development and implementation of the audit quality improvement plan, helping to shape ongoing efforts to elevate standards.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for someone who thrives on variety, enjoys learning new things, and loves engaging with people. If you are passionate about identifying inefficiencies and driving improvements, this role is ideal for you!

Our ideal candidate will have:

• ACA, ACCA, CA, or CAI qualification.
• Experience as a Manager or Assistant Manager in audit.
• Strong technical auditing and accounting expertise.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality audit work.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex matters.
• Experience in managing teams and providing constructive feedback.
• Project management experience, with the flexibility to adapt to changing timelines.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a challenging and sceptical approach when needed.
• Strong decision-making skills, with an understanding of proportionality and risk.
