About the Role

As the Event Operations Manager, you’ll oversee various event components and lead specific areas of event production. Your primary focus will be on the logistics, safety, and overall atmosphere of cycling events. You’ll work closely with sponsors, vendors, and community partners to ensure seamless execution. This is a fast-paced role that requires travel (up to 35% of the year) and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do in this role:

1. Event Planning and Execution

• Manage logistics, negotiations, and budgets for cycling events from initial planning to post-event wrap-up.
• Create and provide detailed information, maps, and documentation to support event safety and logistics.
• Oversee event venue setup, ensuring a cohesive look and feel that reflects the event’s brand.

2. Collaboration and Communication

• Build strong relationships with third parties, municipalities, public agencies, and sponsors to coordinate event production.
