As a Volunteer for Organizational Development & Sustainability, you will support transformative and strategic processes to enhance Goethe-Institut’s efficiency and sustainability. Your role will include contributing to New Work methodologies, piloting innovative programs, and creating impactful communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Organizational Transformation

  • Support the reorganization of Goethe-Institut’s headquarters.
  • Contribute to the implementation of the “Shaping the Future: Goethe 2025” transformation program, focusing on role-based work and internal communication.

Sustainability Initiatives

  • Aid in embedding strategic sustainability management into organizational processes.
  • Assist in creating employee engagement campaigns for sustainability awareness.

Workshops and Training

  • Conceptualize and execute workshops, online training sessions, and collaborative programs for staff development.

Research and Trend Scouting

  • Conduct research and analyze trends related to organizational development, sustainability, and new work methodologies.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving meaningful change within a globally recognized organization.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A university degree in social sciences, psychology, sustainability, economics, cultural management, or a related field.
  • Initial experience in organizational development, sustainability, or new work practices (e.g., through internships or academic projects).
  • Strong conceptual and organizational skills, particularly for managing workshops.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex topics.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.

Experience

  • Exposure to strategic processes in an international or transformative environment.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices or frameworks.
