Key Responsibilities

As a Data Journalist, your responsibilities will include:

• Developing, researching, and crafting unique data-driven stories.
• Collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data using tools like Python or R.
• Visualizing data through various platforms, including mapping tools like QGIS and graphic software like Adobe Illustrator.
• Collaborating with editors to produce finalized stories for publication.
• Guiding and mentoring editorial teams in implementing data-driven journalism projects.
• Verifying and reviewing the data analysis conducted by other journalists.
• Teaching the fundamentals of data journalism to peers.

You should bring expertise in data journalism and creativity to this role.

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using Python or R.

Education and Experience
