Position Responsibilities

Proofreading and Editing

• Ensure content accuracy, grammar, and spelling for all printed material, including Uline’s 800+ page catalog.
• Maintain consistency of style, format, and tone in all materials according to Uline’s established guidelines.

Quality Control

• Identify and correct formatting issues in various content.
• Fact-check product descriptions, images, and other content to ensure accuracy.

Layout and Print Specifications

• Review layout and print specifications to confirm all elements are in place.
• Check the printer’s proofs for accuracy before printing.

Collaboration

• Work closely with the creative team to ensure content aligns with Uline’s brand messaging.
• Ensure that deadlines are met while maintaining the highest editorial standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for editing and proofreading. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage multiple projects efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a focus on English, Journalism, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in copyediting or proofreading, ideally in a corporate or publishing environment.
• Proficiency: Knowledge of AP Style is required.
