Key Responsibilities

Production Forecasting and Scheduling

  • Administer and maintain production forecasts within Oracle.
  • Prepare production schedules to ensure a controlled flow of materials through the production process.
  • Schedule and coordinate the processing of prototype items within Britton facilities.

Data Management and Process Improvement

  • Maintain item planning data within Oracle for accurate planning.
  • Analyze and manage warehouse stock levels to meet demand efficiently.
  • Identify and implement improvements in the planning process and tools.

Communication and Coordination

  • Collaborate with procurement teams to expedite materials when needed.
  • Communicate schedules and ensure timely delivery to meet production goals.
  • Relay critical customer service updates to production teams to prevent delays.

Capacity and Material Planning

  • Analyze capacity requirements and align production capabilities with demand.
  • Plan and monitor material availability to meet production schedules.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate production-related information for seamless operations.
  • Prepare and analyze production schedules and material availability data.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2+ years of materials or production control experience.
  • APICS knowledge is required; APICS certification is preferred.
  • Previous experience with Oracle systems is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Experience

  • Candidates with a 2-year associate or technical degree must have 6+ years of related experience.
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered with 8+ years for bachelor’s degree equivalency.
