Key Responsibilities

Implementation of Audits

You will conduct material report analysis and ensure compliance with Section 71 of IDW EQMS 1 and Section 48 Para. 2 BS WP/vBP for annual audits.

Optimization of Audit Quality

Review working papers for quality, ensuring both formal and content-related standards are met.

Technical Support

Assist colleagues and clients with technical questions related to auditing, accounting, and banking industry regulations.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

Prepare contributions and specialist articles, and help create internal templates for audit reports and audit notes.

Training & Development

Act as a speaker at internal training events, sharing your expertise with the team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in auditing and financial regulations within the banking sector.

Skills & Qualifications

• Completion of the auditing exam and professional experience in auditing annual and consolidated financial statements (HGB and IFRS) in the banking sector
• Expertise in accounting principles, auditing standards, and banking-specific regulatory requirements (national and international)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Excellent communication skills in both German (fluent) and English (good), written and spoken
• Strong independent working style, accuracy, team orientation, and commitment

Education & Experience

• Proven experience in auditing within the banking industry, particularly related to HGB and IFRS
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance for banks
