As a Chemical Lab Tech, you will ensure the quality of raw materials, in-process substances, and finished products. This role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
1. Testing and Analysis
- Perform physical and analytical tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
- Conduct non-phthalate analysis of those samples.
- Test compound lubricant samples and maintain accurate data in the ASR Database.
2. Equipment Maintenance and Calibration
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment as per Chemicals SOP.
- Record calibration results and ensure timely maintenance of instruments.
3. Compliance and Reporting
- Follow Chemicals SOPs and test methods, staying updated with changes.
- Report out-of-control points or faulty equipment immediately to supervisors.
- Store, move, and dispose of chemical materials in line with State and Federal regulations.
4. Lab Organization and Inventory Management
- Keep the lab and work area clean and organized.
- Take inventory of laboratory consumable items when requested.
5. Quality Assurance
- Prepare and certify in-house standards/Q-test samples.
- Apply basic SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) knowledge.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Skills and Qualifications
- Previous laboratory experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
- Familiarity with SPC and MSA is advantageous.
Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Essential Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
