Key Responsibilities

1. Testing and Analysis

• Perform physical and analytical tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Conduct non-phthalate analysis of those samples.
• Test compound lubricant samples and maintain accurate data in the ASR Database.

2. Equipment Maintenance and Calibration

• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment as per Chemicals SOP.
• Record calibration results and ensure timely maintenance of instruments.

3. Compliance and Reporting

• Follow Chemicals SOPs and test methods, staying updated with changes.
• Report out-of-control points or faulty equipment immediately to supervisors.
• Store, move, and dispose of chemical materials in line with State and Federal regulations.

4. Lab Organization and Inventory Management

• Keep the lab and work area clean and organized.
• Take inventory of laboratory consumable items when requested.

5. Quality Assurance

• Prepare and certify in-house standards/Q-test samples.
• Apply basic SPC (Statistical Process Control) and MSA (Measurement System Analysis) knowledge.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Familiarity with SPC and MSA is advantageous.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
