Job Overview
Position: Children’s Services Manager
Location: Strabane Family Centre (Melmount, Strabane, UK)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary: £42,016 – £53,176

Key Responsibilities
- Staff Supervision and Support
- Manage and guide a team of 44 professionals.
- Conduct engaging and productive team meetings.
- Collaboration and Coordination
- Work with the Child Care Partnership and key organizations.
- Coordinate with the Management Committee for project planning.
- Financial and Operational Oversight
- Monitor and manage substantial financial resources.
- Oversee service delivery and ensure quality reporting.
- Service Development
- Plan and develop early intervention programs for children aged 0-4.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- A degree or professional qualification in Social Work, Teaching, Nursing, Early Years, or Community Development (BTEC Level 5 in Early Years or Leadership is acceptable).
- Experience in promoting services for children and families.
- Proven management experience handling safeguarding concerns.
- Leadership of large teams (10+ members).
- Deep understanding of issues affecting children aged 0-4 and their families.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Direct experience working with children aged 0-4.
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary contexts and interagency partnerships.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel as required.
- Successful applicants must undertake an enhanced Access NI with a Child Barred List check.
