Duties and Responsibilities

1. Install and Maintain LED Lighting Systems
   • Install high-quality permanent holiday lighting systems for residential and commercial properties.
   • Ensure the installations are functional, aesthetically pleasing, and long-lasting.
2. Service Existing Installations
   • Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot issues in installed lighting systems.
   • Replace defective or outdated LED components to keep installations operating flawlessly.
3. Ensure a Safe and Clean Work Environment
   • Adhere to safety protocols, especially when working at heights.
   • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and workspaces to ensure efficiency and safety.

Skills and Qualifications

• Familiarity with Tools and Equipment
  • Ability to handle basic installation tools confidently.
• Comfortable Working Outdoors and at Heights
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions and safely manage tasks at elevated locations.
• Strong Communication Skills
  • Effective interaction with team members and clients for smooth project completion.
• Teamwork and Multitasking
  • Coordinate effectively with team members and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience and Knowledge
  • Previous experience in Christmas lights installation, maintenance, or similar fields is a bonus.
  • Basic electrical knowledge is highly valued.

Education and Experience

• Educational Background
  • No specific education is required. Post-secondary education in electrical, trade, or construction-related fields is an asset.
• Experience
  • Experience in electrical, trade, or construction industries is preferred.
  • Having a Working at Heights Certificate is an added advantage.

Requirements

• Licenses and Certifications
  • A valid “G” driver’s license in good standing is mandatory.
  • A Working at Heights Certificate is preferred but not required.
• Physical Ability
  • Must be able to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work on rooftops safely.

Job Types and Pay

• Employment Type
  • Part-time, Casual
• Pay Range
  • $17.50 to $20.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Work Location

• This is an on-site position involving travel across the Greater Toronto Area.
