Job Overview
Position: CRM Configuration Analyst
Job Type: HR (Permanent)
Location: Bracknell Campus
Salary: £47,700 – £71,800 per annum
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
John Lewis Partnership is hiring a CRM Configuration Analyst to join their People Ecosystem team. This role is integral to the configuration and enhancement of the Salesforce Service Cloud (GCM) system, ensuring an effective response to the Partnership’s operational needs and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder Engagement and Impact Assessment
- Engage with stakeholders to assess the potential impact of proposed changes on the user experience.
- Ensure all changes are well-documented and pass through internal governance and approval procedures.
- Evaluate the impact of changes from a broader perspective to ensure seamless operations across the business.
2. Data Protection and Risk Management Compliance
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and internal risk management policies when implementing system changes.
- Act as a key player in ensuring the Salesforce system aligns with all legal and security standards.
3. Report Building and Data Analysis
- Create insightful reports and dashboards using Salesforce Service Cloud to monitor key metrics and performance indicators.
- Conduct thorough analysis to identify issues, opportunities, and business value for continuous improvement.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with technical and IT teams to design and develop solutions tailored to the needs of the business.
- Provide recommendations based on a comprehensive analysis that enables quick decision-making and better business outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Salesforce Experience: Strong experience with Salesforce Service Cloud is essential.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience in providing data analysis and insights to identify business opportunities and resolve issues.
- Report Building: Proficiency in building custom reports and dashboards within Salesforce.
- Prioritization and Multi-tasking: Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and prioritize tasks based on business needs.
Desirable Skills
- Salesforce Certification: Salesforce.com Certified Administrator (ADM201) or equivalent certification is desirable.
- Technical Collaboration: Experience working across IT and technical teams to design and implement solutions.
- HR Knowledge: Understanding of people processes and the HR lifecycle, including recruitment, training, and employee management.
