Key Responsibilities

1. Demand Forecasting and Analysis

  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and sales inputs to accurately forecast demand.
  • Prevent stock shortages or excess inventory by optimizing predictions.

2. Order and Inventory Management

  • Place orders with production sites, suppliers, and co-packers, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Set safety stock levels and implement inventory models in line with company KPIs.

3. System and Data Management

  • Maintain and update planning master data in SAP and IBP for effective forecasting and stock strategies.
  • Adjust forecasts based on changing demand and supply conditions.

4. Co-Packing Coordination

  • Coordinate co-packing activities, focusing on cost-saving, production schedules, and raw material replenishment.

5. Internal Collaboration and Reporting

  • Provide the customer team with updates on the availability of critical products.
  • Generate reports, track forecast accuracy, and recommend areas for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational and Professional Experience

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering.
    • Professional training in Business Administration with 5+ years of SCM experience is acceptable.
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years in demand planning within the consumer goods or B2B sectors.

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in interpreting large datasets.
  • Expertise in Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of SAP, IBP, and BI tools.
