Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead & Inspire: Motivate and guide your team to deliver a fun, engaging, and customer-focused environment.
• Responsibility in Absence of Store Manager: Take charge when the Store Manager is unavailable, leading the team and overseeing all store operations.

Sales & Performance Management

• Drive Sales: Focus on driving sales performance and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Recruitment & Training: Assist in recruitment and training of staff, ensuring a skilled and motivated team.

Store Operations & Compliance

• Oversee Operations: Manage daily store operations, including stock management, recruitment, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth operation of all store processes, from customer service to product availability.

Customer Experience

• Create a Positive Environment: Ensure a high standard of customer service, maintaining an inviting atmosphere for both customers and their pets.

What We Are Looking For

Skills & Experience

• Management Experience: At least 1 year of management experience in a retail environment.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to inspire and manage a team effectively.
• Customer-Focused: Passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and achieving results.
• Flexibility: Ability to work a 7-day shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Commitment to Training: Willingness to undergo 6 months of training in areas like customer service, health and safety, and pet care.
