Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Maintenance

• Provide electrical and maintenance support for the entire plant.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair production, packaging, and ancillary equipment.
• Follow all safety guidelines, including lockout/tag out and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

2. Safety and Compliance

• Adhere to all safety protocols, including food safety, environmental protection, and company security.
• Follow all relevant regulations and codes related to equipment and facility maintenance, health, and safety.

3. Technical Troubleshooting

• Perform general electrical maintenance, including troubleshooting PLCs, relay control, transformers (HV/LV), and calibration/instrumentation.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient problem resolution.

4. Team Collaboration

• Work effectively in a team environment, contributing to the success of the team and the overall plant.
• Complete all assigned tasks efficiently and with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Certification: Licensed Electrician
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an industrial maintenance environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of PLC troubleshooting, relay control, transformers (HV/LV), and calibration/instrumentation.
• Skills: Ability to work with electrical systems, troubleshoot effectively, and communicate well with colleagues.
• Code Knowledge: Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Code.

Asset Qualifications

• Industrial Troubleshooting Experience: Previous experience working in industrial troubleshooting.
• HMI Experience: Familiarity with HMI systems, including PanelView and PanelView Plus.
• PLC Knowledge: Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, including RS 500 and RS 5000.
• TPM Experience: Experience in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
