Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Data Governance frameworks for Deutsche Welle’s systems.
  • Enhance video documentation and metadata systems using AI technology.
  • Work independently on innovative projects in the Data, Innovation, and Systems team.
  • Take on specialized media documentation tasks.
  • Contribute to the strategic development of media content analysis systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Certification: Training as an Information Specialist or in media documentation.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with database systems, AI-powered content analysis, and data structures (XML, JSON, UML).
  • Bonus: Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and advanced programming skills.
  • Languages: Proficient in German and English; additional languages are a plus.

Experience

  • Proven experience in media documentation, data governance, and working with AI technologies.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and experience working in an interdisciplinary team.
