Job Description:

As a Maintenance Electrician (Shift), you will perform key electrical maintenance tasks in Simplot’s Devonport facility. You’ll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault finding on all electrical systems within the facility. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance, preventative, and breakdown tasks across production, engineering, and office areas.
• Ensure the plant and equipment are maintained according to the maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot and repair PLC, automation, and electrically controlled systems.
• Collaborate with mechanical fitters and contractors to complete work orders.
• Work with advanced robotics systems and automation technology.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Apply operational standards and procedures, adhering to safety and quality systems.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Electrician (Shift) Jobs in Australia position will have:

• A current Tasmanian Electrical Licence (mandatory).
• Strong diagnostic, fault-finding, and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with fixed plant electrical works and automation systems.
