Responsibilities
As a Millwright, you will:
- Install, maintain, and repair machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform machine troubleshooting, assembly, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
- Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to fabricate equipment or make modifications.
- Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, and other components.
- Conduct welding, cutting, and power tool operations.
Qualifications
Education: Relevant trade certification or equivalent training.
Experience: 2-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
Additional Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting (an asset).
- Previous sawmill experience and welding certification (an asset).
- Availability for rotating shifts.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
