About the Role
As a CBRE Mobile Engineer, you will manage preventive maintenance, oversee corrective repairs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. This position involves maintaining industrial systems, vehicles, plumbing, structural safety, and control systems to ensure smooth operational functionality.

Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance and Repairs
- Supervise maintenance tasks for mechanical, industrial, plumbing, and safety systems.
- Ensure all systems meet applicable standards and client requirements.
2. Preventive Programs
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Oversee emergency repairs to extend the operational life of machinery and equipment.
3. Inspections and Compliance
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC, fire alarms, and plumbing.
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and company safety protocols.
4. Inventory Management
- Review work orders, estimate resources, and maintain adequate supplies and tools.
5. Leadership and Guidance
- Provide mentorship and share in-depth knowledge with team members.
- Lead by example and align with CBRE’s RISE values.
6. Innovative Solutions
- Propose creative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
- Utilize expertise to impact operational and customer service activities positively.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills:
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of mechanical, industrial, and life safety systems.
- Leadership: Experience guiding teams and managing operational activities.
- Problem-solving: Analytical skills to address engineering challenges.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex information clearly.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED (trade school diploma preferred).
- 4-5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Universal CFC certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Capability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and stoop for extended periods.
Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
