Key Responsibilities

1. Data Visualization Development

• Collaborate with teams to gather and understand data requirements.
• Create visually appealing Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders, including executives.
• Develop interactive data visualizations like charts, graphs, and maps to convey insights effectively.

2. Data Modeling and Transformation

• Use Power Query to clean and transform raw data for accuracy and consistency.
• Build data models and define relationships, hierarchies, and calculations for complex reporting needs.

3. Data Integration and Performance Optimization

• Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Automate data refresh schedules and optimize report performance for fast, responsive user experiences.

4. User Training and Support

• Train end-users to navigate and interact with Power BI dashboards effectively.
• Troubleshoot user issues and manage access levels to maintain data security.

5. Security and Compliance

• Implement data security measures within Power BI to safeguard sensitive information.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and privacy regulations.

6. Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams to align data visualization efforts with business objectives.
• Ensure seamless integration of Power BI with other IT systems and tools.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business, or a related field.

Experience

• 5+ years of Power BI experience, including expertise in data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Proficiency in SQL and knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data integration and pipeline tools.
