This is a full-time role based in Dorval, Quebec, and offers a chance to play a key role in Midland’s continued growth across the region. Job Description
As Regional Sales Director at Midland Transport, you will oversee and guide a team of Account Managers to drive sales growth, expand the customer base, and achieve revenue targets across Quebec. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to grow our LTL, TL, Courier, and Brokerage services, while also maintaining strong relationships with key customers.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership
- Build, coach, and lead a team of five Account Managers in Quebec to drive sales growth and performance.
- Set clear sales goals and ensure the team meets revenue and gross margin targets.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers while exploring new opportunities to expand the customer base in Quebec.
- Develop strategies for customer retention and long-term business growth.
Market and Product Development
- Identify new markets, services, and products that align with the company’s goals and drive revenue growth.
- Work on achieving necessary rate increases to improve revenue quality.
Continuous Improvement
- Foster an environment of continuous improvement within the sales team.
- Ensure that all activities align with Midland Transport’s goals and values.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to analyze market trends and develop strategies for expansion.
- Highly motivated and results-oriented with a track record of success in sales.
Experience
- 6-10 years of experience in the transportation or courier industry.
- Previous sales management experience preferred, with a solid understanding of LTL, truckload, and courier transportation.
- Experience in major account management is a plus.
Education
- Successful completion of post-secondary education is required. Sales and Marketing education is considered an asset.
