As a Reliability Engineer, you will collaborate with Maintenance Managers and Supervisors to ensure effective preventative maintenance and spearhead improvement projects that optimize safety, reduce downtime, and minimize costs.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance Program Management

  • Collaborate with Maintenance Managers and Supervisors to establish robust preventative and proactive maintenance programs using the Enrich Maintenance system.

Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)

  • Lead RCFA efforts for downtime issues and equipment failures, ensuring follow-up actions are effectively implemented.

Improvement Projects

  • Manage or participate in projects aimed at enhancing processes, safety, downtime reduction, cost optimization, and waste reduction.

Equipment Specifications

  • Coordinate with Maintenance Managers, Supervisors, and Equipment Vendors to research and implement new mobile equipment specifications.

Data Analysis

  • Extract and manipulate data from multiple databases to build reliability indicators using tools such as Excel and Power BI.

Scheduling and Telematics Management

  • Assist in scheduling equipment for preventive maintenance, repairs, breakdowns, or MVIs.
  • Manage telematic devices and track critical key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking a results-driven individual with strong analytical skills and a passion for reliability engineering. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys collaborative problem-solving.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in Engineering.
  • Experience: 3+ years of related work experience. Transportation industry experience is an asset.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and telematic systems.
  • Soft Skills: Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with maintenance systems and other internal business processes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple systems and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
