Job Description

As a SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant, you will advise clients on their journey to a modern, digitalized finance function. Your work will involve guiding them through the transformation phases, including requirements gathering, process design, system implementation, and testing up to go-live. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and optimizing financial processes in SAP FI/CO, ensuring successful implementation in integrated system landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

Consulting on SAP S/4HANA Transformations

You will support national and international clients in their SAP S/4HANA transformation projects. This includes consulting on digitalization and financial transformation in accounting and controlling.

Full Lifecycle Support for Clients

Assist clients throughout all stages of transformation—from requirements gathering to go-live. Your expertise will guide them through each phase, ensuring the smooth implementation of financial processes in SAP systems.

Process Design & Optimization

You will analyze, design, and optimize financial processes using SAP FI/CO. This includes customizing solutions to meet the unique needs of each client while ensuring successful process integration into their system landscapes.

Technical Support & Offer Preparation

Provide technical support in preparing client offers and developing market strategies. You will also be involved in the creation of go-to-market strategies for financial transformation projects.

Mentoring Junior Colleagues

Take on mentoring and buddy responsibilities for junior team members. Share your knowledge and help develop the next generation of consultants within the SAP finance and controlling domain.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for an enthusiastic SAP Finance & Controlling Consultant with a passion for digital transformation in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have solid SAP experience and a strong desire to work with cutting-edge technologies.

Skills & Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in finance and/or SAP consulting
• Strong knowledge in SAP FI/CO modules and experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
• Strong customer orientation and professional demeanor
• Analytical thinking with the ability to approach complex processes
• Enthusiasm for digitalization and new technologies, with a proactive approach to task management
• Degree in business, finance, or technical fields is required

Education & Experience

• Degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related technical field
• At least three years of experience in SAP Finance and Controlling (preferably with FI/CO modules)
• Experience in implementing SAP S/4HANA transformations is a plus
• Knowledge of digitalization processes and financial process optimization is desirable
