Key Responsibilities

Front-Line Brand Ambassador

• Greet guests and staff with professionalism as a first point of contact.
• Control access to store premises and acknowledge customers entering and exiting.
• Represent Canada Goose by maintaining a high level of visibility and presence in the store.

Maintain Store Safety

• Contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Respond to fire alarms and emergencies, following safety procedures.
• Ensure the store’s security systems and equipment are functioning properly.

Loss Prevention Support

• Assist in minimizing store losses through strong operational controls.
• Collaborate with the Loss Prevention Manager to improve strategies for preventing loss.
• Participate in physical inventory processes and store cycle counts.

Effective Communication

• Maintain professional relationships with mall security and other retail partners.
• Submit detailed incident reports within 24 hours of an event.
• Attend and actively participate in store meetings and events.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal Security Ambassador for this role is proactive, trustworthy, and able to handle security responsibilities while also providing excellent customer service.

Skills and Qualifications

• Retail Experience: 2-3 years of experience in retail, with knowledge of workplace safety and emergency protocols.
• Loss Prevention or Security Experience: Experience in a similar role is an asset.
• First Aid & CPR: Recognized and valid certifications are required.
• Security Licensing: Must be willing to obtain Security Guard licensing if not already certified.
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication.
• Judgment & Decision-Making: Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment in security-related situations.
• Physical Endurance: Able to stand, walk for long periods, and lift objects to 20 lbs.
