About the Team

Our Brisbane-based CFO Advisory team collaborates with organizations to reduce their financial reporting burdens. We specialize in finance function transformation, accounting change, financial management, transaction accounting advice, and specialized finance outsourcing. By leveraging process improvements and technology solutions, we help clients enhance their financial information quality, align accounting outcomes with business goals, and streamline the reporting process.

You’ll work with multi-disciplinary teams on projects in financial and management reporting, digital finance transformation, and accounting advisory. Along with hands-on client work, you’ll gain access to Deloitte’s world-class training and development programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Finance Advisory: Provide expert guidance on finance transformation, reporting improvements, and regulatory alignment.
• Lead Projects: Manage diverse finance and accounting advisory projects to help clients strengthen their financial processes.
• Enhance Quality: Improve efficiency in financial reporting by addressing accounting matters and ensuring timely compliance.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate strong client relationships and support Deloitte’s business development initiatives.

About You

The ideal candidate for this Jobs In Australia CFO Advisory role brings:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in finance, accounting, external audit, or a related field.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Certification: CA qualification or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial reporting, technical accounting, management accounting, and budgeting.
• Team Collaboration: Well-developed skills in relationship management, teamwork, and communication.
