Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Development
- Led and coached a team of 4-9 Onsite Representatives and Specialists.
- Oversee the execution of KeepStock services, ensuring timely product stocking and organization.
- Mentor and develop team members, creating an engaging environment where they feel motivated to succeed.
- Uphold Grainger’s values and ensure that team members align with company culture and goals.
Financial and Resource Management
- Oversee KeepStock projects to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Manage resource deployment and ensure effective solutions are offered to customers.
- Apply financial and economic principles to monitor and improve the P&L performance of onsite services.
Customer Service and Relationship Management
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive sales growth and meet Return on Investment (ROI) goals for KeepStock sites.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers and ensure their needs are consistently met.
- Work closely with internal teams (Customer Service, Sales, Supply Chain, Consulting) to address service opportunities and improve operations.
Operational Efficiency and Process Improvement
- Monitor and ensure that operational processes are efficient and aligned with business goals.
- Identify and address process improvements to enhance service delivery and team performance.
- Ensure that team members have the right tools and resources to excel in their roles.
Required Qualifications
Experience and Skills
- 3+ years of relevant experience in retail, manufacturing, or industrial sectors. Leadership experience is preferred.
- Strong experience in financial and economic concepts to manage P&L tasks effectively.
- Proven experience in situational leadership within a matrixed environment, managing teams not directly within your span of control.
- Ability to build and sustain partnerships across internal teams and with customers.
- Expertise in process improvement, ownership, project management, and maintaining operational control.
Education
- Associate’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
