Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance and Operations

  • Perform maintenance on refrigeration, heating systems, pumps, motors, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Operate and oversee plant refrigeration and heating systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance for optimal equipment performance.

2. Compliance and Documentation

  • Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, BRC, TSSA, and Operating Engineers Act requirements.
  • Accurately complete documentation, including work orders and logbooks.

3. Troubleshooting and Repairs

  • Address and resolve technical issues with auxiliary systems like air compressors and water treatment plants.
  • Perform routine inspections and repairs to ensure system efficiency.

4. Collaboration

  • Work closely with team members to maintain operational standards.
  • Participate in training programs to improve technical proficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Educational Requirements: Minimum Third-Class Power Engineering or Class B Refrigeration certification.
  • Experience: At least 3 years in ammonia plant maintenance and operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in PLC operation, HVAC systems, and power control.
  • Knowledge: Familiar with fire suppression, building security, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Compliance: Understanding of GMP, HACCP, and related operational standards.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and willing to work across shifts, including weekends.
