Job Description

As a Solutions Specialist at Midland Transport, you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by managing customer relationships, understanding their business goals, and recommending the best technical solutions. You will also play an important role in onboarding new customers, coordinating internal resources, and supporting the sales team to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement and Onboarding

  • Work closely with the sales team to maintain customer engagement during the onboarding process.
  • Understand customer needs and business goals, recommending ideal solutions for success.

Project Management

  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, managing customer projects from start to finish.
  • Ensure the smooth implementation of solutions, with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Product Knowledge

  • Maintain a deep understanding of Midland’s product offerings, helping customers to realize the full potential of the solutions.
  • Provide demonstrations and training on product features to customers.

Cross-Functional Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement solutions and achieve customer objectives.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer within the company, ensuring that their needs are met.

Sales Team Collaboration

  • Support the sales team by providing insights and ensuring onboarding targets are met.
  • Lead internal stakeholder training to help the sales team understand new product offerings.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify areas for improvement in customer-facing materials and processes.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to address customer feedback, bugs, and enhancement requests.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other customer relationship management tools.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong technical aptitude and a quick learner with new platforms.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, including IT Help Desk Analyst, IT Business Analyst, or IT Project Manager.
  • Proven track record in sales and managing large-scale accounts.
  • Prior experience in customer success, particularly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education

  • Community College Program Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Business, IT, or Communications.
