Key Responsibilities

1. Store Management and Team Leadership

  • Oversee the performance and well-being of your team of 15–60 employees, depending on store volume.
  • Provide excellent customer service as the lead point of contact for all customer needs.

2. Operational Excellence

  • Manage and improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the store.
  • Handle operational tasks such as cash management, stock replenishment, and store cleanliness.

3. Recruitment and Training

  • Recruit, train, and develop employees to reach their full potential.
  • Prioritize employee growth and foster a supportive work environment.

4. Safety and Compliance

  • Maintain a safe, productive, and positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and ServSafe certification.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Educational and Professional Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1–2 years of management experience, OR 3–5 years of management experience without a degree.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service skills, including the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
  • Physical capability to lift and move products over 50 pounds and reach above 10 inches.
  • Willingness to handle hands-on store operations, including stocking and cleaning.

Certifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification and state-specific alcohol licensing (if applicable).
