Job Description

As a Technologist, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving sanitation and washing programs, investigating non-conformities, and supporting quality control efforts. You will also collaborate with external suppliers, provide training, and assist with HACCP re-evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sanitation and Washing Program

• Maintain, monitor, and improve daily sanitation processes and non-routine tasks.
• Ensure all sanitation practices align with company and industry standards.

2. Quality Control and Non-Conformities

• Investigate non-conformities and collaborate on corrective and preventive actions.
• Support quality control activities, including analyzer monitoring and testing.

3. Training and Collaboration

• Evaluate and provide training on sanitation and analyzer operation.
• Work closely with external suppliers and assist the quality department.

4. HACCP Participation

• Participate in the re-evaluation of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plans.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills, a passion for continuous improvement, and a desire to contribute to the success of a reputable company. A background in food technology or dairy product transformation is ideal.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education: DEC in Food Process and Quality Technology or AEC in Dairy Product Transformation.
• Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience as an agro-food technologist (preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer programs (SAP, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
• Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to analyze processes and resolve issues.
• Initiative: Strong initiative and a desire to improve and learn.

Experience

• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in food technology or agro-food industries is an asset.
• Experience with sanitation processes and quality control is highly preferred.
