Job Description

In your role as a Technology Business Analyst, you will guide clients through their IT transformation journeys by advising on best practices and industry standards. This includes designing cost-effective IT service management processes, advising on IT sourcing, and helping implement technology solutions. You will work closely with senior leadership to implement agile strategies that enhance operational efficiency and streamline technology deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead IT Transformation Projects

You will manage and implement successful transformation projects, including requirements analysis, process establishment, and IT service optimization. Your role will involve working with clients to define IT processes, organizational structures, and sourcing strategies to drive long-term success.

Optimize IT Service Management

Provide consulting services for the introduction or improvement of IT service management and IT financial management processes. You will apply established methodologies such as ITIL or COBIT to help clients manage their IT resources effectively and efficiently.

IT Cost Allocation & Service Pricing

Help clients design and optimize IT cost allocation systems and establish service pricing strategies. You will work within the framework of IT control and IT service portfolio management to ensure financial accountability and operational success.

IT Sourcing Consulting

Advise clients on make-or-buy strategies and help identify the best supply chains for their needs. You will support the creation of business cases, manage service transitions, and ensure smooth vendor or contract management.

Portfolio Development & Technology Transformation

Independently drive the development of our Technology Transformation Service portfolio, focusing on IT service management, financial management, and agile IT transformations. You will also contribute to developing new product ideas in Next Generation Technology Operations.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Technology Business Analyst who is adept at solving complex problems and driving transformation within client organizations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in IT, business analysis, and technology consulting.

Skills & Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience in a technology consulting or IT transformation role
• Strong background in IT service management, IT financial management, and agile methodologies
• Experience with established IT standards such as ITIL and COBIT
• Proven track record in managing complex technology projects and advising senior management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both German and English
• Ability to analyze and develop solutions for complex technological problems
• Strong conceptual thinking and the ability to manage and mentor teams

Education & Experience

• Completed studies in business informatics, industrial engineering, data science, or a related field
• At least 5 years of professional experience in IT consulting, technology transformation, or business analysis
• Hands-on experience in IT transformation projects, particularly in IT service management or financial management
• Expertise in agile methodologies, project management, and IT standards
