Key Responsibilities of a Warehouse Worker
As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for the sorting, organizing, and processing of merchandise in our Centralized Processing Warehouse. Specific duties include:
1. Sorting and Processing Merchandise
- You will be tasked with separating and sorting various items based on their condition and saleability. This includes determining which items can be sold, recycled, or discarded.
2. Maintaining Workflow and Production
- Ensure a steady flow of goods throughout the day by supplying merchandise to various departments. Keep the production line running smoothly by organizing and handling goods efficiently.
3. Maintaining Clean and Safe Work Areas
- Keep your workstation clean and organized, following safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure an efficient work environment.
4. Collaborating with Team Members
- Work closely with your colleagues and supervisors to meet production goals and ensure that merchandise is processed accurately.
5. Other Duties as Assigned
- As needed, perform other warehouse-related duties as directed by your supervisor to support the team’s efforts and meet operational needs.
Qualifications for Warehouse Worker
To succeed as a Warehouse Worker in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle heavy merchandise safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse or production environment is an advantage but not required. Training will be provided.
