Responsibilities of a Warehouse Worker
1. Inventory Management
- Receiving and Storing: Coordinate the receipt of packaging, ingredients, and new materials into the facility.
- Shipment Handling: Oversee tasks related to incoming and outgoing shipments, including:
- Inspecting shipments upon arrival.
- Creating pick lists for orders.
- Verifying orders for accuracy.
- Loading and unloading shipments efficiently.
- Inventory Approval: Approve finished goods for warehouse storage and update inventory records.
2. Documentation
- Maintain accurate records by entering materials and ingredients into the Warehouse Management System immediately upon receipt.
- Ensure compliance with documentation standards to support traceability and operational accuracy.
3. Work Scheduling
- Perform daily warehouse tasks to meet:
- Operational targets.
- Housekeeping requirements.
- Assist in maintaining a smooth workflow within the warehouse.
4. Quality Assurance & Customer Focus
- Adhere to and enforce quality standards, including:
- Quality Assurance practices.
- Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP).
- Food Safety protocols.
- ISO requirements.
- Develop SOPs: Create and train employees on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance consistency and adherence to tasks.
5. Leadership and Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and Production Managers to align goals.
- Support the warehouse team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables.
- Foster a respectful, safe, and healthy work environment.
- Contribute to building positive relationships across departments.
6. Safety and Environmental Standards
- Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety procedures.
- Conduct daily mobile equipment inspections and ensure adherence to safety policies.
- Identify and eliminate unsafe practices to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
7. Continuous Improvement
- Suggest improvements to methods, processes, and working conditions to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Actively participate in implementing practical solutions for operational challenges.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in a warehouse role, preferably within the food industry.
