Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations
- Collaborate with pharmacy teams to dispense medications accurately and safely.
- Verify safe and appropriate medication administration.
- Assess and dispense critical and palliative care medications.
- Ensure timely and organized drug deliveries with the delivery team.
Customer Care
- Provide exceptional support to patients and healthcare partners.
- Maintain professionalism and adhere to corporate policies in all interactions.
- Conduct medication profile reviews and document recommendations.
Regulatory and Administrative Duties
- Comply with provincial and federal pharmacy regulations.
- Maintain organized and complete health records for continuity of care.
- Assist in inventory management and monitor pharmaceutical supplies.
Team Support and Development
- Participate in training and support for new and existing pharmacy team members.
- Stay updated on corporate policies, pharmaceutical advancements, and licensing requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with Kroll Windows application.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with PacMed systems.
- Previous experience in long-term care pharmacy settings.
- Teaching and mentoring capabilities.
