CareRx is seeking a Pharmacy Support Staff member to join our pharmacy team in Oakville. This role supports pharmacy operations, ensuring the accurate and efficient dispensing of medications while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Medication Handling and Dispensing

  • Operate PACMed dispensing and PACVision verification machines. Training will be provided.
  • Assist in the reallocation and pre-packaging of medications.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure medications are dispensed accurately, safely, and on time.

2. Inventory and Organizational Support

  • Maintain and monitor pharmacy inventory.
  • Support the team in ensuring that all medications are properly stored and managed.

3. Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with pharmacy management and registered pharmacy team members.
  • Address any unresolved issues related to daily operations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

4. Training and Mentorship

  • Assist in training and mentoring pharmacy team members.

5. Confidentiality and Ethics

  • Maintain strict confidentiality of patient and pharmacy data.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and company policies at all times.

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Requirements

  • Pharmacy Assistant or previous pharmacy experience is an asset.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift to 4.5 kg (10 lbs) regularly.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods when necessary.
