Key Responsibilities
1. Fixed Asset Management
- Oversee accurate accounting for fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations regarding fixed assets.
- Handle depreciation calculations and manage balance sheet assets for construction projects.
2. Financial Reporting and Compliance
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
- Implement and adhere to asset accounting guidelines and processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation for audits and financial statements.
3. Process Improvement and Optimization
- Review and enhance processes in the area of fixed assets accounting.
- Optimize existing systems and guidelines to align with best practices.
Who You Are
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Training as a certified public accountant, office clerk, or equivalent, with a focus on financial accounting.
- Strong knowledge of fixed assets accounting, including HGB standards (and IFRS is a plus).
- Proficiency in common IT systems, especially MS Excel and other accounting software.
- Structured, precise working style with excellent communication skills to explain complex financial matters.
- Fluent in German and English.
