Key Responsibilities
1. Achieving Sales Targets and Territory Growth
- Drive sales to meet and exceed quotas within the designated territory.
- Identify key accounts and target new opportunities for Solta’s capital equipment.
- Maintain an up-to-date pipeline to maximize sales opportunities.
2. Product Presentations and Training
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers on Solta’s equipment, ensuring they understand its benefits, safety, and applications.
- Provide training to customers and support them with their understanding of the products’ uses.
3. Account Management and Relationship Building
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, ensuring continued business and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the sales team, marketing, and other stakeholders to improve service and achieve business goals.
4. Administrative and Reporting Tasks
- Prepare sales contracts, quotes, and pricing information in line with company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer contacts, and account details.
- Complete weekly and quarterly business reports, and provide regular updates on territory status and sales forecasts.
5. Industry Knowledge and Compliance
- Stay informed about market trends, competitive products, and advancements in medical technology.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, including FDA GMPs, and follow best practices in all activities.
6. Travel and Event Participation
- Travel regularly within the assigned territory, including overnight stays for customer meetings, tradeshows, and corporate events.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Skills
- Sales Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience selling capital equipment, preferably in the medical aesthetics or dermatology sector.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively to a variety of audiences.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA GMP regulations, clinical procedures, and medical terminology.
- Customer Service: Ability to build relationships and deliver high-quality customer service to meet their needs.
- Time Management: Excellent organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in selling to plastic surgeons, dermatologists, or other medical professionals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a team and independently.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: At least 4 years in medical sales, with at least 3 years selling capital equipment. Experience in aesthetics or dermatology is highly preferred.
