Job Overview

Position: Deliver Service Ambassador
Job Type: Customer Service (Permanent)
Location: Oxford
Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, with varying shifts including early starts, late finishes, evenings, and weekends between 05:00 – 13:00)
Salary: £12.47 per hour

Job Description

The Deliver Service Ambassador role is essential to ensuring smooth e-commerce operations within stores. You will focus on providing a seamless customer experience by supporting picking operations, resolving customer queries, and upholding operational standards. You will also be a mentor to other Partners, coaching them to enhance their skills and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. E-Commerce Operation Management

  • Oversee the picking process to ensure that customers receive the right products on time.
  • Ensure safe, legal, and efficient operation while adhering to health and safety guidelines.

2. Customer Service Excellence

  • Be the first point of contact for customers with any queries, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Use initiative to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. Coaching and Development

  • Act as a role model in customer service by coaching and providing feedback to other Partners.
  • Support continuous learning and personal development within your team.

4. Attention to Detail

  • Maintain high operational standards, ensuring the safe delivery of age-restricted items.
  • Ensure that all e-commerce operations are legally compliant and efficient.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal Deliver Service Ambassador is customer-focused, proactive, and skilled in team management. You should be comfortable with e-commerce systems and have the ability to mentor and lead by example. Attention to detail and the ability to handle queries with professionalism are essential.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in customer service or retail.
  • Ability to coach and support others in delivering high standards of customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail, especially when managing the picking operation.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer queries effectively.

Experience

  • Previous experience working in customer service, retail, or e-commerce operations.
  • Supervisory or team leader experience is advantageous.
