Key Responsibilities of the Lab Technician

Essential Duties

1. Calibration: Perform calibration of laboratory equipment and production pH meters to ensure accurate readings.
2. Sample Monitoring: Regularly monitor control samples and interpret results.
3. Data Interpretation: Analyze and track data to report findings to relevant departments promptly and clearly.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all tests and analyses using tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, and SAP.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and manufacturing best practices, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and local and state laws.
6. Laboratory Support: Provide support to the lab technician team, covering tasks such as powders chemistry, cheese chemistry, and microbiological testing when required.
