Job Description
The Psychologist LC provides advanced clinical services, including psychological assessment, diagnosis, and therapy, within the Chronic Pain Program at the Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre. This position supports patients with chronic pain conditions such as chronic headaches, musculoskeletal issues, and pelvic pain, offering evidence-based care focused on improving patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Patient Care
- Conduct psychological assessments using standardized tools and clinical interviews.
- Provide cognitive behavioral therapy and brief individual therapy.
- Develop and implement patient-centered treatment plans.
Program Leadership
- Lead or co-lead client education programs and community-based group sessions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program evaluation.
- Contribute to program development and service planning activities.
Education and Training
- Supervise doctoral-level psychology residents and other team members.
- Conduct inter-professional education sessions and clinical rounds.
- Share expertise through journal clubs, committees, and professional education activities.
Research and Development
- Design and conduct clinical research aligned with program goals.
- Participate in evidence-based initiatives and policy development.

Skills and Qualifications
- Education: Doctoral degree in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from a CPA or APA-accredited program.

Experience
- Experience in coordinating and facilitating therapeutic groups.
