Job Description

As a Senior Turnaround Manager (m/f/d), you will guide clients through times of crisis and change, helping them implement effective measures to improve their financial health. You will assess and design restructuring plans, manage teams, and work with various departments, such as sales, IT, and finance, to ensure sustainable solutions for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

You will lead restructuring projects, working closely with Deloitte experts in different business areas such as sales, logistics, IT, and finance.

Strategic Analysis

Assess and evaluate alternative courses of action for the company, including restructuring, insolvency, and liquidation, to determine the best path forward.

Solution Development

Develop tailored solution strategies for clients facing critical business situations, such as operational difficulties or financial instability.

Client Support

Advise clients in process and organizational development, providing training and coaching as they implement new strategies.

Business Development

Work to strengthen existing client relationships, contribute to acquiring new clients, and continuously improve methods and practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this role is someone with substantial experience in restructuring, a strong background in economics or law, and a passion for tackling challenging business problems.

Skills & Qualifications

• Degree in economics, law, industrial engineering, or a related field
• Several years of experience in restructuring, controlling, or consulting
• Strong project management and leadership skills, including experience in guiding teams
• High level of commitment, responsibility, and ability to work in a team
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Very good German and English communication skills (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel and the ability to present in demanding corporate environments

Education & Experience

• Degree in economics, law, or industrial engineering
• Proven experience in restructuring, reorganization, and financial consulting
• Previous managerial experience and project leadership
