Job Description

As a Service Leader at Chipotle, you will ensure that great food and excellent customer service are delivered consistently. You will be responsible for training crew members, maintaining a clean and organized restaurant, and managing food safety protocols. Additionally, you will help resolve customer incidents and monitor crew schedules and performance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure Food Quality

Ensure that high-quality, delicious food is consistently served to customers. Assist in resolving any food quality issues promptly.

2. Support Food Safety

Monitor food safety measures, including proper handwashing, glove changes, and temperature control. Ensure that food safety policies are consistently followed.

3. Customer Experience

Help resolve customer issues and work towards providing positive, memorable customer experiences.

4. Crew Support and Development

Assist with crew breaks, shift changes, and training. Support the development of crew members into future Service Leaders by providing cross-training opportunities.

5. Administration Support

Help with office administration tasks, including banking, cash handling, and maintaining office supplies. Ensure that necessary supplies are available and equipment is in good working order.

6. Leadership and Scheduling

Monitor crew performance and assist with scheduling and shift management. Ensure that the restaurant operates smoothly and efficiently at all times.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal Service Leader will be an organized, dependable individual with restaurant experience and a strong focus on customer satisfaction. You should be able to lead by example, maintain high food safety standards, and communicate effectively with both customers and team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and health department regulations
  • Familiarity with cash handling and office paperwork
  • Ability to speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous restaurant experience is preferred

Experience

  • Prior experience in a restaurant leadership or customer service role
  • Ability to manage front-of-house crew and operations
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
