Key Responsibilities of the Automation Engineer:

• Develop Firmware for Automation Systems: You will design exceptional firmware for PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems, bringing industrial automation to life with precision.

• Experience with industrial safety equipment (e.g., light curtains, interlocks, scanners, etc.)
• Knowledge of machine safety standards such as ISO13849-1/2 and CAN/CSA Z434
• Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus/TCP, Ethernet/IP, PROFINET)
• Experience with various PLC and VFD brands (e.g., Siemens, ABB, A&B)
• ABB experience is preferred

Bonus Skills:

• Expertise in process control engineering and instrumentation
• Proficiency in interpreting block flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and P&IDs
• Skilled in reading wiring diagrams and electrical drawings
