Key Responsibilities

1. Production and Assembly

• Check the production schedule and determine finished hose requirements.
• Identify and prepare raw materials based on batch cards.
• Operate cutter machines to run hoses and ensure proper lengths.
• Assemble hoses with fittings using expander machines and coil-finished hoses for labeling and packaging.

2. Quality and Safety

• Recognize and address quality issues.
• Perform all required quality checks, including length measurements.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

3. Operational Tasks

• Print and supply carton labels to assemblers.
• Maintain accurate daily production records.
• Supply operational materials to finishing tables.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on time and in compliance with company standards.

Skills and Requirements

1. Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

2. Technical Skills

• Ability to recognize quality problems and take corrective action.
• Familiarity with operating cutter machines and label printers.
• Capability to train new employees on processes and quality standards.

3. Physical Requirements

• Must stand, squat, bend, twist, and turn for extended periods.
• Manual and mechanical dexterity are required.
• Ability to lift to 35 pounds.
