Job Description
The Student Supervisor ensures students follow school rules and maintain a safe environment during lunch hour and other school activities. The role involves supervising students, assisting with discipline, and contributing to the school community’s safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise Students: Ensure students follow school rules and are safe while in school, including hallways, classrooms, and other common areas.
- Monitor Behavior: Observe student behavior and report any abnormal situations to the designated authorities. Provide warnings and enforce school policies.
- Assist During Exams and Detention: Supervise students during exams, detention, isolation, or when the teacher is absent.
- Supervision During Bus Arrivals and Departures: Ensure safety during the arrival and departure of school buses. Supervise students on the bus.
- Cafeteria Supervision: Supervise students during lunch hours, ensuring they follow school policies.
- Assist with Activities: Participate in student activities and ensure materials are available. Collaborate with teachers and support staff.
- Ensure Safety: Intervene in fights, bullying, or other disruptive behavior. Help maintain a safe and respectful environment.
- Emergency Response: Administer first aid if necessary and follow proper protocols for accident reports or theft.
- Monitor Absences: Assist in monitoring student attendance and communicate with parents about absences.
- Other Duties: Assist with locker assignments, security monitoring, and ensuring school policies are followed in various scenarios.
Desired Profile
Education & Experience
- Education:
- Hold a Secondary School Diploma or an equivalent attestation recognized by the competent authority.
- Experience:
- One (1) year of relevant experience in roles requiring discipline, basic psychology concepts, and strong interpersonal skills.
Certifications
- First Aid Certification: Must have a standard First Aid certification (8-hour course) and a Refresher Course (6-hour course) completed within the last 3 years.
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills in both French and English (written and spoken).
