Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Achievement and Territory Management

  • Meet or exceed sales quota targets for the assigned DACH region.
  • Implement effective strategies for territory penetration, identifying new accounts to expand the customer base.
  • Provide product presentations and demonstrations to healthcare professionals, showcasing the application and benefits of Solta’s products.

2. Customer Education and Product Support

  • Educate healthcare professionals about the indications, contraindications, and safety of Solta’s products.
  • Install products and provide in-service training to ensure customers are equipped to use them effectively.
  • Support regional training workshops and attend tradeshows to promote the product line.

3. Sales Operations and Administrative Duties

  • Pre-plan sales calls and manage time effectively to ensure maximum customer outreach.
  • Prepare sales contracts, quotes, and pricing according to company guidelines.
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer profiles and complete administrative tasks, including expense reports and business plans.

4. Relationship Building and Communication

  • Build strong, productive relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
  • Maintain open communication with sales management, ensuring accurate territory forecasts and sales updates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions to remain competitive.

5. Compliance and Professionalism

  • Adhere to all regulatory and quality guidelines while representing Solta products.
  • Demonstrate high standards of integrity, ethics, and professionalism in all aspects of the role.
  • Ensure effective communication with the Director of Sales and Senior Management.

Skills and Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Sales Expertise: Proven success in selling capital equipment, with a preference for experience in medical devices or consumables.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to physicians and large groups effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to understand and communicate the technical attributes of Solta products.
  • Time Management: Strong organizational skills to manage territory and customer needs efficiently.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of software such as Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools for managing customer information.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel frequently within the DACH region and attend trade events.

Preferred Skills

  • Medical Device Experience: Experience in the medical field, particularly with plastic surgeons or dermatologists.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to make persuasive presentations and communicate technical information clearly to healthcare professionals.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven sales success in the medical device or healthcare industry, with a focus on capital equipment.
  • Driver’s License: A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
