Job Summary
As a Production Operator (3rd Shift), you will be responsible for assembling, loading, and inspecting materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. This role requires adherence to quality standards and company policies while maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Duties
- Perform machine operation, setup, and changeovers safely and efficiently.
- Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Load, unload, and assemble components as required by assigned machines.
- Review process documentation daily for updates or quality changes.
- Conduct minor troubleshooting, machine repairs, and preventative maintenance as directed.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure all quality standards are met per process books and inspection instructions.
- Complete production paperwork accurately and timely.
- Participate in corrective action or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Rework products when necessary to meet quality standards.
Training and Collaboration
- Train future operators effectively.
- Assist material handlers and production teams as needed.
- Attend additional training programs to enhance skills and performance.
Safety and Compliance
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Follow all established company policies and procedures.
- Perform tasks in compliance with safety protocols and local regulations.
Education and Experience
- Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Experience: One to three months of related experience or equivalent training.
- Ability to safely operate machinery and material handling equipment.
Skills Required
- Machine operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow quality standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Problem-solving and adaptability.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
