Job Description:

As a Vendor Scheduler, you will play a critical role in managing ingredient and packaging stocks, ensuring they align with the Master Production Schedule (MPS) at Simplot’s Echuca site. Reporting to the Production Planner, your responsibilities will include coordinating supplier deliveries, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage vendor schedules for packaging and ingredient suppliers.
• Ensure all raw materials and packaging are delivered on time.
• Place orders and issue Vendor Schedules for inventory items and non-stock items.
• Follow up with suppliers on purchase orders and manage delays.
• Record goods receipts in the PRMS (AS400) system.
• Maintain supplier records, including order quantities, lead times, and safety stock.
• Measure and analyze Supplier Delivery Performance (SDP), focusing on quality, quantity, and timeliness.
